Overview In this role you drive sales targets while delivering an exceptional shopping experience by enforcing company guidelines on sales, service, and staff development. You lead merchandising, pricing, and presentation to uphold brand standards and optimize stock and profitability. You model customer-focused service, ensure safety, and supervise associates to maintain high performance during peak periods. You partner with the Chief Executive Merchant to foster a friendly, knowledgeable environment and handle store operations, HR, and loss prevention as needed. Responsibilities- Drive and teach the P's of retail (People, Product, Price, Purchasing, Position, Presentation, Promotion, Pro Ser vices) and engage customers to deliver quality service
- Strategically merchandise and apply company guidelines to merchandising practices
- Maintain store presentation standards and safe, secure environment
- Support the Chief Executive Merchant in delivering seamless customer service and a helpful, knowledgeable atmosphere
- Perform Store Manager on Duty duties as required
- Administrative duties: conduct weekly competitive shops; communicate pricing/inventory issues; analyze business reports (P&L, CPR, BAT, STPOA, STPRC)
- Utilize POS systems to manage inventory, cycle counts, and shipping/receiving; ensure brand and operating standards are met
- Interface with corporate headquarters and support store-level operations
- Ensure optimum scheduling during peak periods; monitor and develop associates
- Train, supervise and manage workload of store associates; address performance issues and disciplinary actions
- Maintain compliance with scheduling, hiring, payroll, and business planning processes
- Handle store HR and loss prevention issues as needed
- Open/close the store as required
Key requirements- Three to five years retail management experience
- Ability to operate in a high-volume, complex location
