Overview In this Senior role, you will define and drive the technical direction for data quality within Google's AI Foundry, delivering high-quality datasets for Search and DeepMind. You will shape architectures that enable self-correcting, self-healing data flows across large-scale systems, from sourcing to storage. You'll partner with researchers, engineers, and infrastructure teams to surface VoD signals and translate data needs into scalable engineering solutions. This role offers the chance to influence data-centric AI journeys at scale and contribute to core Google products.

Responsibilities- Set the technical vision and roadmap for data quality and data flywheels
- Architect and guide end-to-end data pipelines for high-quality datasets
- Collaborate with DeepMind researchers, Search teams, and engineers to identify VoD signals
- Lead design and development of quality metrics and monitoring across large-scale systems
- Coordinate with infrastructure owners to enhance crawl, processing, and signal enrichment
- Provide technical guidance on critical components in the context quality area
- Orchestrate upstream capabilities to meet downstream data consumption requirements
Key requirements- 15 years of software engineering experience
- 7 years in a technical leadership role
- 5 years developing and deploying ML models on data
- 3 years in infrastructure or data systems building/managing infrastructure products
