Overview In this role you drive the growth of commercial relationships in the Atlanta area by cultivating and managing a diverse portfolio of business clients. You work across teams to win new loans, deposits, and banking solutions while ensuring credit quality and client satisfaction. You will represent the bank at community and professional events, shaping the bank's presence and impact in the region. This position offers scope to influence product offerings and contribute to CRA and community initiatives, all within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain extensive relationships with individuals, businesses, and centers of influence in metro Atlanta
- Aggressively pursue loans, deposits, and cross-sell opportunities while maintaining profitability and credit quality
- Evaluate creditworthiness and prepare credit packages for underwriting
- Attend and participate in bank events, committees, and community activities to expand visibility
- Manage loan renewals, cross-sell initiatives, and problem loans as needed
- Maintain updated pipeline, call, and prospect databases weekly
- Stay informed on banking products, competition, regulations, and market trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve production goals and customer service standards
- Promote a professional image and adhere to dress code and policies
- Support development of business plans and marketing initiatives
- Utilize CRM and bank resources to meet objectives
- Prepare and present financial documents for underwriting and credit decisions
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Participate in meetings (Officer/Director Loan Committees, Deal Flow, Sales) as requested
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment to exceed goals
Key requirements- Minimum of three years in banking-related business development, marketing, and sales; knowledge of underwriting is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, marketing, communications, management, or related field
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are a plus
- Strong skills in business development, sales, customer relations, and leadership
- Solid understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory environment
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines
- Proven track record in developing profitable new business and closing deals
- Digital savviness and proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems
