Overview

In this role you will train and develop Product Sales Specialists to deliver exceptional customer service and accurate product knowledge. You will guide store teams to implement the basic principles of retail, maintain merchandising standards, and support showroom operations. You'll balance training, safety practices, and daily store tasks to help customers shop confidently. This position offers growth through certifications, leadership, and contributions to a high-performing retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service
  • Complete product specialist certification courses
  • Manage merchandising, pricing, and department organization
  • Communicate SOPs and changes to associates
  • Oversee forklift certification and safety procedures
  • Monitor inventory needs and coordinate with management
  • Assist showroom installation, placement, and sign creation
  • Greet customers, answer product questions, and guide selections
  • Operate POS for transactions, refunds, and exchanges according to policies
  • Present how-to classes and stock merchandise displays
  • Maintain cash handling and acceptance procedures
  • Respond to phone inquiries following guidelines
  • Stock, tag, and label merchandise as required
  • Communicate pricing and product placement accuracy
  • Provide training on basic retail P's (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing)
  • Support store hours and pickup operations with customer service excellence
Key requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and basic retail concepts
  • Experience with basic merchandising and showroom upkeep
  • Ability to learn and deliver training content
  • Comfort with POS systems and cash handling
