Overview In this role you will collaborate with design engineers and global toolshops to finalize stamping die designs that meet design intent and manufacturing requirements. You'll lead tool developments, drive cost and quality initiatives, and ensure robust documentation. You will work cross-functionally to translate tolerances into reliable tooling and support ongoing program launches. This is a hands-on manufacturing role with travel that contributes to scalable production of major appliance components.

Responsibilities- Lead projects to specify/purchase new large stamping dies for major program launches
- Lead changes to existing tools to support cost and quality initiatives
- Communicate project updates to all levels of the organization
- Lead toolshop to deliver a design that translates print tolerances into a repeatable/robust stamping tool
- Maintain/update/submit project documentation for each new tool (e.g., FMEA, NP stores load sheets, Purchased component listing)
Key requirements- Journeyman's card in tooling
- 5 yrs as a toolmaker
