Overview In this role you will lead on-site construction endeavors for aviation facilities, acting as the primary owner representative to guide scope, budget, and schedule. You will work closely with the airport, design teams, and contractors to ensure delivery aligns with owner objectives and regulatory requirements. You'll oversee complex design and construction coordination, manage procurement for designers and builders, and drive timely, on-budget project completion. This is a hands-on leadership role at a premier aviation-focused firm with a strong emphasis on sophisticated project delivery.

Responsibilities- Direct and manage the project on-site as liaison to the owner and airport management
- Develop and manage scope to meet project goals and objectives
- Oversee RFP development and procurement for designers and contractors
- Ensure schedule adherence and budget control within contractual obligations
- Plan goals, understand owner objectives, contract terms, and airport policies
- Coordinate all technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop budgets and schedules for project elements
- Supervise and coordinate the Design Manager and design processes through construction
- Oversee design review processes and manage change through RDT
- Monitor permitting processes and mitigate construction obstacles
- Ensure alignment with latest plans/specs, submittals, RFIs, and approvals
- Capture accurate field conditions and maintain scope documentation
- Maintain coordinated CAD representations and related project records
- Manage punch list, testing, and commissioning activities as needed
- Foster compliance with applicable industry practices and regulations
Key requirements- 15 years or more experience in airport projects
- Experience on projects valued over $50 million
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, and Design/Build delivery methods
- Strong management capabilities and leadership experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Optional certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP or related licenses
