Overview In this role you will work directly with HBS faculty to advance the school's research agenda across AI, digital transformation, and future-of-work topics. You'll design and conduct analyses, produce case materials and policy memos, and communicate findings to both academic and business audiences. You will join a collaborative, rigorous environment that values independence and intellectual curiosity. This is a hands-on research position with opportunities to influence high-impact projects and potentially publish in outlets like Harvard Business Review. You will contribute to shaping business knowledge at a leading institution.

Responsibilities- Support faculty on research topics central to HBS agenda
- Provide subject-area knowledge, analysis, and interpretation
- Identify and explore questions related to faculty research
- Write cases, supplements, reports, and policy memos from research
- Write articles for business audiences (e.g., HBR)
- Develop, design, and conduct data-driven research using statistical tools
- Perform statistical programming and NLP
- Manage and manipulate data using STATA, Python, R, or MATLAB
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
- Work with discretion and keep faculty informed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree with GPA > 3.5
- Ability to read academic material and write thoughtful analyses
- Evidence of independent research and high-quality academic writing
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and task completion
- Ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with navigating a complex organization (preferred)
