Overview In this role you will lead a DFT-focused team within AMD's Central DFX to shape testability for state-of-the-art SOCs and IPs. You will drive automated design flows, mentor engineers, and ensure robust validation of DFT features in complex ASIC designs. You'll collaborate across CAD tooling and in-house teams to enable scalable, reliable DFT solutions that support AMD's HPC and AI initiatives. This is a chance to impact debugging, test methodology, and throughput at a global scale.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of DFT engineers with technical direction and feedback
- Understand and architect DFT features for complex SOC/ASIC designs
- Develop and deploy automated DFT design flows
- Set up and run design checks with standard and in-house tools
- Deliver scalable scripts (Perl, Python, TCL) for DFT implementations
- Monitor regression results, debug failures, and analyze coverage
- Develop in-house automation utilities, intranet portal, and AI/ML applications
Key requirements- Perl/Python/Shell scripting experience
