Overview In this field-based role, you drive scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs to advance Eisai's Alzheimer's/dementia program within Medical Affairs. You'll build expert knowledge on AD, relay clinical data, and help shape medical strategy through insights from the field. You collaborate across teams to educate peers and support Eisai's dementia pipeline initiatives. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position that blends science, strategy, and execution in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities- Serve as the primary clinical/scientific resource to HCPs on disease state and Eisai products
- Act as a conduit for timely medical information between KOLs/investigators and Medical Affairs/development groups
- Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs in AD and dementia
- Present clinical/scientific data on Eisai products and relevant areas as requested
- Support professional congresses and lead congress coverage efforts
- Identify and report scientific and clinical insights from KOLs to Medical Affairs
- Teach, coach and mentor junior MSLs; participate in special projects
- Facilitate IIS review and follow-up; contribute to sponsor trials and site selection when applicable
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease states, methodologies, and product data
- Demonstrate proficiency with approved medical platforms, strategies, and cross-functional collaboration
- Provide input for strategic planning and cross-functional projects
Key requirements- MSL experience in neurology or complex diseases; dementia/AD research strongly preferred
- 3+ years for Sr MSL title
- Established relationships with KOLs in neurology and/institutions focused on AD preferred
- 2+ years in industry/clinical research in a scientific/clinical setting
- Strong broad-based scientific/pharmaceutical knowledge; clinical trial development and drug launch experience preferred
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA/pharma regulations, and OIG guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to tailor messaging to audience; strategic conversation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel 60% as field-based role
- Experience in matrix environments with cross-functional partners; familiarity with Commercial Operations
- Technology skills for word processing, slides, spreadsheets, and video conferencing
