Overview As MVCA Product Line Operations Manager, you will lead the Medium Voltage Control Assemblies product line across manufacturing, design/engineering, and customer service. You'll drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and profitability while shaping long-term growth strategies. You'll work with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage the P&L, and implement cost-out initiatives. This role offers a chance to influence operations at scale within Eaton's manufacturing ecosystem and contribute to a zero-incident safety culture.

Responsibilities- Set operations strategy for the MVCA line aligned with growth, profitability, and asset efficiency
- Develop action plans from the product line strategy and cascade objectives across the workforce
- Monitor performance against objectives and implement tactical adjustments
- Drive continuous improvement using CIF and ELSS to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Foster innovative approaches to organizational improvement
- Select and develop staff to manage the product line; build supervisors and PL team
- Promote teamwork across plant operations and administer performance management
- Oversee MVCA value stream elements (Daily Accountability, Standard Work, Gemba Walks)
- Deploy the MESH Safety Program to support a zero-incident culture
- Facilitate problem-solving and corrective actions for production issues
- Allocate capital and personnel to maximize operating efficiency
- Control in-process inventory to meet production needs with minimal inventory impact
- Coordinate manufacturing schedules and priorities to satisfy customer requirements
- Plan and monitor metrics for quality, cost, delivery, and safety
- Ensure documentation and systems transactions meet customer, manufacturing, and financial reporting needs
- Partner with Product Line teams to monitor backlog health and capacity vs demand
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management/technology, or business
- Seven (7) or more years of strategic manufacturing and operations experience with leadership responsibility
- Willingness to relocate to Arden, NC (Asheville area); relocation assistance provided
