Overview

As a Research and Planning Manager in PwC's Tax practice, you guide businesses through complex tax regulations to optimize their positions. You lead a team, mentor staff, and own project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery. You provide strategic tax consulting to improve client outcomes and collaborate with stakeholders to address opportunities and challenges. You leverage technology to enhance service delivery and drive measurable impact. This role offers a chance to shape tax strategies at a leading firm and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Leading tax planning and compliance initiatives for partnership tax clients
  • Overseeing the preparation and review of partnership tax returns and related documents
  • Providing strategic tax consulting services to optimize client tax positions
  • Analyzing complex tax regulations and identifying their impact on client operations
  • Developing and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to address tax-related issues and opportunities
  • Utilizing analytical thinking to identify linkages within tax systems and processes
  • Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations
  • Embracing technology and innovation to improve tax service delivery
  • Upholding professional and technical standards in all tax-related activities
Key requirements
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • CPA, Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
  • Proficiency in Corporate Tax Consulting and Planning
  • Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance tax research and documentation
