Overview

In this role you drive the global product strategy for early-stage vaccine/immune-therapy assets, leading a cross-functional Global Product Team to accelerate development from Phases I-III. You will align internal and external stakeholders, shape value-driving strategies, and manage governance-backed business cases. You'll nurture external expert networks and support business development to deliver meaningful patient impact. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of science, strategy, and execution, with a clear mission to accelerate value and deliver differentiated product profiles.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and maintain integrated product development plans aligned with Global Franchise Head and Global Product Lead
  • Drive value creation across development, approval, growth and maturity stages
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to enhance product value and market strategy
  • Develop and communicate differentiated Target Product Profiles (TPP) and Target Product Claims (TPC)
  • Lead governance-approved business cases, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and issues; accelerate development with novel approaches
  • Support business development opportunities within Vaccines and Immune Therapies
  • Act as ambassador for the indication/asset; engage external experts and build networks
  • Provide product information for portfolio reporting and investor relations discussions
  • Lead an effective GPT and use agile sub-teams to enable timely decision-making and delivery
  • Collaborate with a global cross-functional team for indication/product delivery
  • Foster partnerships and alliances and maintain productive working relationships
  • Develop materials for Investor Relations discussions
  • Support and mentor cross-functional teams to sustain momentum and high performance
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of clinical-related experience
  • Broad experience of drug product development
  • Experience in vaccine development, infectious diseases, or immunology
  • Expertise in areas of the drug development process
  • Ability to translate technical information into business language
  • Proven track record delivering drug development projects
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with internal and external partners
  • Problem-solving, driven, entrepreneurial and agile mindset
  • Ability to learn new information rapidly
  • Desirable: MBA
