Overview

In this Budget Analyst role, you will manage key elements of the budget and financial lifecycle for a fast-paced Army program office, leveraging SAP-based systems to plan, execute, and reconcile funding. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop spend plans, resolve financial issues, and ensure compliance across CCaR, GFEBS, and related ERP tools. Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage detailed spend plans for each appropriation
  • Prepare and process Work Breakdown Structures, Purchase Requisitions, POs, MIPRs, and related directives
  • Analyze SAP Financials and Asset Management in GFEBS; resolve DAR-Q reconciliations and PMRT-related data
  • Affect resolution of IDoc errors across financial/supply chain interfaces (e.g., GFEBS, DTS, PReqs, POs)
  • Identify and resolve unmatched transactions and Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs)
  • Review civilian payroll postings and correct budget postings as needed
  • Support FIAR initiatives and payroll execution after GFEBS runs
  • Assist in budget execution and compliant funds management for DCPS and ATAAPS issues
  • Prepare WBS, sales orders, and related procurement documents for funding and accountability
  • Provide hands-on PPBE knowledge to drive efficient budgeting and execution workflows
Key requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master with 6 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in GFEBS, CCaR, LMP, cPROBE, and PMRT
  • Completion of mandatory GFEBS/CCaR training
  • Proficiency in Excel (data manipulation, formulas, detailed spend plans)
  • Strong knowledge of Army appropriations (RDT&E, Procurement, O&M) and ADA compliance
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Queries, dashboards is a plus
