Overview In this entry-level role, you pursue a professional engineer track, applying fundamental to intermediate engineering principles to produce design computations, plans, and documentation. You'll support project submissions, code compliance, and field work while growing through ABET-aligned education and potential licensure. Responsibilities- Prepares and reviews design computations, plan designs, and drawings
- Reviews submittals and coordinates project submissions
- Prepares and reviews specifications, draft letters, and written technical reports
- Completes inspections and field work assignments as needed
- Researches, reviews, interprets, and applies codes, regulations, and permit requirements
- Maintains documentation of work and project records
- Possesses knowledge of codes and standards applicable to project designs
- Develops technically accurate, clean, deliverable drawings
- Promotes QA/QC processes to improve deliverables and reduce errors/omissions
- Performs work within assigned budgets
Key requirements- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering from ABET-accredited school
- No previous relevant work experience required; internships preferred
- Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management
