Overview In this role you will lead the B2B e-commerce strategy for Carolina Cat, integrating OEM and dealer digital applications. You will drive adoption of online buying experiences, collaborate with multiple departments, and steer the development of a dealer e-commerce solution. You'll monitor performance, optimize the customer journey, and ensure alignment with Caterpillar's Digital Excellence program. This position offers the chance to shape retail digital experiences and contribute to revenue growth.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute an e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals
- Manage administration, support, and growth of Caterpillar and dealer e-commerce apps
- Analyze market trends and benchmark against competing brands
- Collaborate with IT and Marketing to integrate tech for better online UX
- Coordinate marketing campaigns to drive adoption and retention of e-commerce apps
- Monitor online sales and campaigns; update based on performance
- Lead the Digital Excellence program delivering targets
- Coordinate product listings, descriptions, and inventory
- Provide web performance insights to inform marketing strategy
- Oversee UAT for Caterpillar system updates to OEM apps
- Ensure compliance with online sales regulations and data protection
- Stay current with e-commerce tech best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field with 7+ years of e-commerce/digital strategy experience
- Deep understanding of digital/e-commerce practices and technologies
- Experience with retail/dealer or franchise-based brands
- Proven ability to execute innovative marketing programs
- Excellent written and oral communication
