Overview In this role you will lead manufacturing planning and execution across multiple programs. You'll translate schedules into actionable work plans, monitor progress, and drive readiness for new product introductions. You will steer cross-functional collaboration with engineering, contracts, supply chain, and quality to meet milestones and ensure on-time delivery. This position offers impact in defense/aerospace programs with visibility to leadership and program offices. You'll contribute to program success through disciplined planning, risk mitigation, and process improvements.

Responsibilities- Develop, maintain and execute manufacturing project plans aligned to schedules and milestones
- Translate IMS into actionable work plans, identifying critical path activities and resources
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Support NPI activities, coordinating production readiness reviews and transition planning
- Maintain manufacturing schedule visibility across concurrent programs and report status
- Serve as primary manufacturing contact to program office, engineering, contracts, and supply chain
- Participate in IPTs and milestone events representing manufacturing
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Test Engineers to resolve production flow issues
- Work with Supply Chain to secure materials and mitigate shortages
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with inspection plans and quality requirements
- Identify staffing needs and align workforce to build plans
- Manage Direct Labor Utilization targets and balance cost/schedule
- Support development of labor estimates and Basis of Estimate for proposals
- Identify, document and track risks; develop mitigation plans and escalate as needed
- Maintain lessons learned and support RCCA processes
- Prepare status briefings and maintain documentation for program reviews and customer deliverables
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years in manufacturing or program management within defense or aerospace
- Experience managing production programs through NPI, LRIP, and FRP
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), IMS development, and program reviews
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
