Responsibilities- Lead supplier development and qualification processes
- Identify and measure component failure trends; collaborate with suppliers to improve quality
- Partner with suppliers to understand problems and investigate root cause
- Evaluate supplier-provided failure analyses and initiate/monitor/approve supplier corrective actions
- Provide technical leadership for supplier process improvement
- Perform supplier audits to assess process capability and compliance to SEL, regulatory, and ISO standards
Key requirements- B.S. in Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or related field
- Demonstrated success in resolution of quality issues in electronic design and manufacturing
- Strong facilitation, organization, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of QA methods including RCA, process capability, FMEA, SPC
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
