Overview

In this role you oversee rehabilitation services across care settings, guiding teams to implement evidence-based practices and compliant care plans. You will lead clinical initiatives, training, and interprofessional collaboration to optimize patient outcomes. The position focuses on program development, safety, and efficient operations across multiple sites. You will partner with physicians and cross-functional teams to advance rehabilitation practice and shared models of care. This is a strategic leadership role that shapes clinical standards and staff development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and mentor teams; foster cross-functional collaboration and goal setting
  • Lead performance management, provide feedback, and coach for improvement
  • Drive professional growth through training programs and talent development
  • Lead organizational change, monitor industry trends, and promote best practices
  • Facilitate open dialogue, motivate teams, and promote cross-team collaboration
  • Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and support decision making
  • Translate business plans into actionable team plans and track progress
  • Ensure policy compliance, standardize processes, and address escalated issues
  • Develop work plans and allocate resources to meet priorities and deadlines
  • Identify and remove performance obstacles; implement contingency plans
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership across sites in standards, protocols, and projects
  • Coordinate education and training to maintain competencies and evidence-based care
  • Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee patient care planning, assessments, and complex case management across sites
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and service delivery enhancements
  • Drive development of new products/services aligned with goals and trends
Key requirements
  • Masters or Bachelor in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy with required licensure
  • Minimum three years in a leadership role with or without direct reports
  • PECOS registration within six months from hire/transfer
  • Basic Life Support at hire
  • National Provider Identifier at hire
  • Licensure in California for OT/PT or SLP at hire
