Overview As a senior technical leader in volatile flavor analysis, you will drive complex flavor science challenges and deliver analytical insights for long-term research as well as short-term projects. You will lead global and local flavor initiatives, develop volatile analysis methods, and translate chemometric results into actionable communications. The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams and knowledge sharing within ADM's flavor science community. You will shape flavor strategy and impact product development at scale.

Responsibilities- Serve as project lead or individual contributor on global and local flavor projects
- Develop and apply volatile analysis methods (GC-FID-MS, GCO, GCGC-TOF-MS)
- Perform sample preparation for foods, beverages, flavors, etc.
- Interpret complex analytical results and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Maintain and perform simple instrument repairs
- Collaborate with Global AFI team and NA flavorists
Key requirements- PhD or equivalent in Food science, chemistry or related field with 10+ years of flavor experience
- Experience in the flavor industry is essential
