Overview In this Maintenance Supervisor role, you will lead maintenance strategy and activities to ensure reliability and on-time execution in our Cincinnati plant. You'll manage a team of maintenance specialists, contribute to local budgets, and drive improvements for equipment availability and safety, aligned with EHS and QM policies. The position sits within our Engineering and Maintenance organization and supports capital improvements for utilities and manufacturing processes. You'll collaborate across functions to optimize spare parts, procurement, and contractor performance, shaping reliable operations at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead and execute the maintenance plan to deliver reliability and timely execution
- Contribute to local maintenance plan and goals (capacity, critical maintenance, inventories)
- Develop local maintenance strategies using equipment criticality (ABC)
- Supervise maintenance specialists for a process area or technology
- Apply preventive maintenance to improve equipment availability and reduce disruptions
- Define and manage maintenance budgets for resources and duration
- Conduct audits to ensure EHS/QM compliance
- Identify and deploy improvements to increase productivity and correct non-compliance
- Improve spare parts stock and manage obsolete materials
- Coordinate suppliers, monitor performance, escalate issues to E&M and Procurement
- Support engineering projects with procedures and trials
- Manage maintenance budget and track parts/labor costs
- Order and maintain maintenance stocks
- Develop strategies to reduce maintenance costs and improve procedures
- Assign daily tasks based on skills and urgency
- Negotiate contracts and oversee third-party contractors
- Perform routine checks and discuss issues with staff
- Conduct root cause analysis with implementation team
- Oversee HR processes for local maintenance team
- Develop local talent pipeline and promote internal talent
- Provide technical coaching and performance feedback
Key requirements- 8+ years in manufacturing or plant operations
- 2+ years people management
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Experience diagnosing issues and decision making under pressure
- Clear communication to staff and upper management
- Strong planning and multi-tasking in high-pressure environments
- Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification
- Experience in matrixed organization
