Overview In this role you will provide psychiatric evaluation, consultation, and treatment recommendations for patients on medical and surgical wards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated care. You will contribute to the Indiana University School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency Program at Deaconess Health System, shaping education for residents and advancing a growing residency. Compensation / Benefits- $322,000 salary

Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric consultations and assessments for hospitalized patients (Deaconess Midtown & Gateway Hospitals)
- Collaborate with PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary teams to provide cross-coverage as needed
- Develop treatment recommendations and coordinate behavioral health interventions
- Partner with medical, surgical, and specialty teams for whole-person care
- Assist with complex behavioral health cases, capacity evaluations, and care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement, education, and clinical excellence initiatives
- Weeknight coverage: 9 nights/quarter; Weekend coverage: 3 weekends/quarter
