Overview In this role you deliver comprehensive dental care within a large community health network, contributing to access for uninsured and underserved patients. You work under department standards and collaborate with dental specialists, clinicians, and para-professional staff. Responsibilities- Complete documentation accurately and timely per department standards and insurance requirements
- Consult with appropriate dental specialists and refer patients when needed
- Instruct and supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants, and para-professional staff
- Develop and review dental treatment protocols, audit procedures, and quality assurance processes
- Provide dental care including root canal therapy, restorative procedures, and oral surgery; work with cost-effective resource use
Key requirements- CPR/BLS or ACLS/ATLS/Advanced Resuscitation Training
- DEA license
- Graduate of accredited Dental School
- California license as DDS or DMD
- AGD membership preferred
- General practice residency or equivalent of 2 years clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Team-based and independent working skills
- Basic computer literacy; EMR documentation fluency
- Knowledge of dental practices, protocols, trends, and best practices
