Responsibilities- Manage a diversified client portfolio and serve as primary contact for clients
- Lead and direct tax professionals on client projects
- Analyze US GAAP rules affecting taxpayers
- Oversee engagement risk, billing, collections, and project budgets
- Deliver high-quality tax advice and services to clients
- Assess tax impact, develop tax arguments, and propose client plans
- Senior Manager: contribute to market activities and maintain team leadership and coaching responsibilities
Key requirements- Minimum five years of corporate tax experience in financial services with alt investments (investment partnerships and/or mutual funds)
- Previous experience as a tax manager in a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- CPA, JD/LLM or EA (or ability to obtain one of the approved designations)
- Proficiency in taxation of corporations, consolidated entities, partnerships, and other flow-through entities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Senior Manager: minimum eight years of experience as tax senior manager with similar focus
