Overview As Academic CRM Platform Manager, you will lead the Slate CRM within UW's centralized IT ecosystem, partnering with tri-campus admissions and enrollment management teams. You will translate governance decisions into actionable platform work, manage intake and prioritization, and coordinate vendor feature rollouts in line with institutional priorities. You'll collaborate with SETS, UW-IT, and campus stakeholders to ensure reliable platform delivery and effective change management. This role offers a meaningful chance to shape the enrollment experience across multiple campuses and units.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact for enrollment management partner units and leadership
- Plan and facilitate Academic CRM Governance Committee meetings with resources for decision-making
- Document governance outcomes and convert decisions into service commitments and implementation plans
- Develop intake channels for partner units and triage requests for routine vs. escalated work
- Coordinate with SETS service managers and engineers on day-to-day service delivery, including configuration, integrations, and tier 2/3 support
- Communicate platform changes to stakeholders and manage internal coordination with SIS and enterprise data platforms
- Lead or co-lead onboarding projects for new institutional customers and coordinate go-live activities
- Provide 3rd-tier escalation support and collaborate with vendor representatives as needed
- Develop and maintain platform standards (naming conventions, configuration patterns, integration design, data policies, change control)
- Contribute to SLA framework, escalation paths, and service definitions for the platform
Key requirements- Bachelor in Informatics or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years in program or product management, higher education IT, or enrollment management technology
- Experience owning a technology platform with roadmap, backlog, release planning, and stakeholder communication
- Ability to translate governance or stakeholder priorities into actionable delivery direction for technical teams
- Experience managing a shared platform with multiple customer groups and no single authority over direction
- Proven ability to facilitate equitable cross-unit prioritization and maintain transparency with partners
