Overview In this role you will support senior analysts covering the global technology sector, spanning hardware, software, semiconductors, and communications. You'll build and refine financial models to inform investment ideas across geographies and market caps, while developing AI-enabled research workflows to accelerate data gathering and analysis. You will engage in primary research, prepare notes and presentations, and participate in meetings to surface actionable insights. Responsibilities- Support idea generation and company analysis across global technology names with financial modeling (revenue forecasts, margins, cash flows, valuation)
- Work across business models, geographies, and market cap ranges supporting multiple portfolios and strategies
- Conduct primary research by reading filings, transcripts, and sell-side notes; track industry news and competitive dynamics, including AI, semiconductors, and software trends
- Develop expertise in AI tools, workflows, and applications for investment research to speed data gathering, synthesis, and model maintenance
- Prepare research notes, earnings summaries, presentations, and other materials for portfolio managers and the broader team
- Participate in meetings, site visits, broker meetings, and industry conferences; document key takeaways for ongoing analysis
- Maintain organized, current research databases and gather/analyze market, company, and financial data
- Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to identify new investment ideas and recommend securities across targeted sectors
- Ensure all work complies with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science backgrounds welcomed)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, or buy-side roles preferred
- Strong financial modeling and accounting/statement analysis skills
- Knowledge of data gathering and analysis methodologies
- Solid grounding in investment concepts and products
- Experience or interest in complex tech business models (semiconductors, hardware supply chain, software, and services) or willingness to develop in this area
- Genuine curiosity about technology and AI-enabled research workflows
- Comfort with AI-assisted research tools and modern data platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard data sources
- Demonstrated global experience or interest (cultural immersion, language skills, international exposure)
