Overview As a Project Electrical Engineer at Olsson, you lead electrical design for diverse facilities, coordinating systems with AutoCAD and Revit to deliver construction documents and specifications. You'll drive QA/QC, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross discipline teams, visiting job sites to validate builds. Responsibilities- Lead electrical design and coordination for systems using AutoCAD and Revit; create construction documents and specifications
- Execute QA/QC plans and mentor/train team members
- Coordinate with other disciplines and perform supporting calculations
- Meet with clients to discuss conceptual and final designs
- Travel to job sites for observation and validation
- Provide electrical design services including power distribution, lighting, arc flash studies, and electrical modeling
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 5-15+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Understanding of International Building Codes
- Experience with RSMeans preferred
