Electronics Engineer IV, Responsible Product Engineer

Overview

In this role, you lead production readiness and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards for high performance digital/analog systems. You translate complex system requirements into manufacturable solutions while preserving traceability and configuration control. You collaborate with internal teams and government partners to drive continuous improvement and deliver designs that meet customer specifications. This position offers hands on leadership in a mission driven, engineering heavy environment with a clear impact on product success.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee test and integration of digital electronics systems
  • Lead Responsible Engineer / CPE activities for analog and digital electronics
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet program goals
  • Manage requirements verification, systems integration & test, and traceability
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to aerospace quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with management, peers, and government customers
Key requirements
  • Experience as Responsible Engineer / Product Lead for analog and digital electronics
  • Experience with subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers
  • Familiarity with failure investigation processes (root cause analysis, FRBs)
  • Experience evaluating design and requirements verification
  • Experience across aerospace electronic component development lifecycle
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
  • Experience leading a team and delivering programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build relationships across organizations
  • Team player with cross functional leadership
  • FPGA and/or ASIC design
  • Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design
  • Embedded software
