Overview You will be part of the site EHS team supporting environmental compliance at a large union manufacturing plant. The role focuses on managing environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits with emphasis on water/wastewater/stormwater or waste/SPCC/chemical management. You will develop processes to ensure compliance, mentor line personnel, and coordinate regulatory reporting and recordkeeping. This is a hands-on role that enables you to influence site-wide environmental performance and regulatory standing.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure regulatory compliance and permit adherence
- Coach and mentor line personnel on environmental accountabilities
- Compile and submit environmental reports to Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies
- Coordinate environmental sampling, reporting, and follow-up; prepare and submit required reports and maintain records
Key requirements- Minimum 2 years of plant environmental experience
- Bachelor of Science in a related technical field
- Experience managing environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits
- Focus on water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management
