Overview As a Module Development Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced test and manufacturing solutions to advance Intel's next-generation technologies. You will partner with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to tackle complex challenges at scale and drive improvements in yield, performance, and manufacturability. This role sits in the Sort Test Technology Development team within Advanced Packaging Technology Manufacturing in Arizona, offering high-impact work at the frontier of semiconductor manufacturing. You will shape test strategies and enable technology roadmaps that power Intel's future products.

Responsibilities- Develop and lead test technology and process solutions for new product designs and manufacturing scalability
- Optimize manufacturing techniques including material selection, metrology, and parameter refinement
- Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes and repair methods, including reverse engineering
- Collaborate with customers to optimize production testing strategies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure process compatibility across upstream and downstream operations
- Engage with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technologies for Intel's roadmap
- Drive process and equipment improvements to boost performance, yield, efficiency, and manufacturability
- Test and characterize analog circuits for power and thermal management, including thermal profiling and recipe tuning
- Provide calibration for power delivery to support power and performance binning
- Perform ATE and bench device characterization
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related STEM) with 4+ years of industry experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or Ph.D.
- Working knowledge of RF lab equipment (mixed-signal, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, TDRs)
- 2+ years in ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development
- 2+ years of IC test experience
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing process improvement, problem-solving, and excursion management
