Overview In this role you act as the owner's representative on construction projects in Atlanta, coordinating contractors to deliver on time and within budget while upholding quality. You lead change management, risk tracking, and reporting, and supervise field coordination, inspections, and closeout activities. You work with the project team to ensure constructability, safety, and adherence to contract terms, contributing to large-scale transportation infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role with meaningful impact on project delivery.

Responsibilities- Coordinate contractor efforts and field coordination across multiple contracts
- Monitor progress against schedule and budget, report variances
- Manage change management, change orders, and risk registers
- Review bid packages for constructability and coordination; approve design clarifications
- Oversee payment certification, insurance, bonding, and contract compliance
- Administer contracts and conduct weekly progress meetings
- Oversee QA/QC programs and design consultant inspections
- Prepare Resident Engineer's Weekly Report and close-out activities
- Interface with utilities and coordinate lay-downs and site logistics
- Expedite resolution of construction problems and supervise field staff
- Assist client and PM at pre-bid/pre-con meetings
- Ensure daily reports collection and documentation controls
- Oversee project close-out and occupancy readiness
Key requirements- 10+ years' direct experience in passenger loading bridges, vertical/horizontal conveyance systems, baggage handling and security screening environments
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CM contract delivery methods
- Ability to review safety plans, QC plans, document control plans, and project procedures
- Experience directing CM field staff (Resident Engineers, ASRs, Project/Office Engineers, Field Inspectors)
- Proficiency with scheduling/document/database tools (PMWeb, P6, MS Office)
- Minimum 15 years' experience in construction contract administration and field inspection
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors and interfaces with utilities
