Overview In this role you contribute to the commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment for mission-critical facilities. You will work with a team to review deliverables, support startup activities, and ensure safety and quality on site and in manufacturing environments. You help translate electrical systems knowledge into practical testing and commissioning steps. This position offers exposure to diverse projects and cross-functional collaboration within a trusted, innovative engineering culture.
Responsibilities- Assists experienced commissioning specialists in coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables
- Prepares and reviews simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets
- Performs basic electrical calculations
- Assists in reviewing supplier documentation for specification compliance
- Uses department guides and standards from the electrical engineering portal
- Gains basic knowledge of commissioning, inspection, and testing of electrical components and systems
- Maintains knowledge of switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, power panels, protection relays, UPS, and related systems
- Demonstrates proficient technical writing and basic mathematics
- Keeps aware of industry codes and standards
- Maintains good communication and willingness to travel to customer sites
Key requirements- Minimum Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant electrical experience
