Commercial/Sales Finance Manager

Overview

As Senior Business and Strategic Financial Analyst, you will partner with Global Sales leadership to provide financial insights, strategic guidance, and performance analytics for a worldwide sales budget. You will develop plans, forecasts, and KPI dashboards, driving margin expansion and productivity gains. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with BU, engineering, marketing, and corporate finance to enable data-driven decision-making and ensure budget alignment with strategic goals. This is a high-impact, fast-paced position offering visibility to senior management and a chance to shape global sales investments.

Responsibilities
  • Act as strategic financial partner for the business unit with data-driven recommendations
  • Develop annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and headcount trackers with variance analysis
  • Provide P&L insights and ad-hoc financial modeling to leadership
  • Maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Support the SVP of Global Sales with strategic insights through cross-functional reviews
  • Identify efficiencies, margin expansion opportunities, and cash enablement
  • Review and approve requisitions per governance policies
  • Monitor spend, investments, and KPI-based visibility to hit financial targets
  • Lead financial planning and analysis for Worldwide Sales and collaborate with regional groups
  • Support strategic initiatives such as productivity metrics and funnel/demand creation
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain accurate records
  • Act as Finance partner to translate plans into executable initiatives
  • Coordinate monthly plan/forecast/actuals reporting and executive summaries
  • Be the liaison between Global/regional Sales and accounting/FP&A for guidance
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • Significant experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with stakeholder influence
  • Experience in global, matrixed organizations is a plus
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Familiarity with Oracle 12 (OBIEE, Project Accounting), Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Tableau desirable
