Overview In this role you will develop, manage, and perform internal audits focused on accounting and financial processes, with emphasis on SOX controls. You will lead the SOX program, test controls, and communicate findings to process owners and external auditors. You will mentor the Internal Audit team and drive improvements in control design and testing across ERP environments. This position strengthens financial governance in a global retail leader and supports a culture of compliance and integrity.
Responsibilities- Guide and develop the Internal Audit team across all audit phases and IT/technical controls
- Manage and execute the SOX program, including testing and scope improvements
- Lead interviews and walkthroughs of accounting/financial processes
- Document and test internal controls, develop test plans, and assess design and operating effectiveness
- Prepare concise workpapers per professional standards and report control deficiencies with remediation plans
- Lead all phases of operational/financial audits in line with standards and frameworks
Key requirements- Bachelor
- 3+ years relevant experience
- CPA or CIA
- SOX knowledge and experience
- ERP experience with Oracle or SAP preferred
