Overview As a Junior Designer, you will support eyewear collections across multiple brands by crafting color CAD renders, exploring color and material directions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll gain exposure to NA and Italy design teams and help translate brand strategy into tangible concepts, while expanding your technical eyewear knowledge. The role offers growth within a global design environment focused on brand identity and market trends. Your contribution will shape early-stage concepts and assist on special design projects.
Responsibilities- Create detailed color CAD renderings for eyewear collections per licensor specs
- Assist lead designers and strategy teams in color and material direction
- Research domestic and competitive markets to identify trends while maintaining brand identity
- Support material and technique development with cross-functional teams including NA, product strategy, and Italy
- Learn eyewear technical specs through collaboration with NA and Italy teams
- Contribute to collection sketch development and company-wide design projects as needed
- Meet timelines and provide timely design solutions
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Design
- Minimum 6 months of design experience in eyewear or accessories (including internships)
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with 3D design software is a plus
- Location preference for Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens
