Overview In this role you will translate operational needs into engineering products for next-generation C4I capabilities, focusing on SoS delivery for U.S. and international partners. You will apply MBSE and requirements management to keep engineering artifacts accurate and traceable, collaborating with government engineers and architects. You drive structured documentation and support lifecycle activities to enable effective system design and acquisition. Responsibilities- Translate operational needs into engineering products and maintain documentation (RTM, SRD, SDD, FRD)
- Apply MBSE principles and use requirements management tools to capture, decompose, trace, and manage requirements
- Collaborate with government engineers, technical leads, and systems architects to drive system design and acquisition
- Decompose system requirements into functional/technical requirements for SoS environments
- Support SE lifecycle activities and conduct SETR events
- Support C4I or complex defense system development and integration
Key requirements- 3+ years of systems engineering experience with requirements development and management
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM DOORS, DOORS Next or MBSE tools
- Experience developing and maintaining engineering products and documentation (RTM, SRD, SDD, FRD)
- Experience decomposing requirements for SoS environments
- Experience supporting SE lifecycle activities and SETR events
- Experience with C4I or defense systems
- Knowledge of requirements management, systems architecture, traceability, and configuration management
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
