Overview In this role you apply advanced Industrial Hygiene expertise to support Nuclear Energy sector engagements at the Savannah River Site. You will lead IH program planning, problem-solve complex challenges, and guide teams to deliver compliant safety outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to drive safety and quality across projects at SRR. Responsibilities- Apply IH theories and advanced technical practices to solve complex problems
- Lead program planning, assessments, and recommendations for IH
- Provide direction across internal and external teams for IH initiatives
- Communicate results and objectives to customers, colleagues, and management
- Stay current with IH advances and participate in professional organizations
- Support safety culture and compliance requirements within project tasks
- Coordinate with facility requirements and shift schedules as needed
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards in all work
- Support reporting and documentation of IH activities
- Contribute to department initiatives and quality concepts
Key requirements- Consecutive related experience in a similar IH role within the past five years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools
- B.S. in Industrial Hygiene or related field with 10-15 years of experience, or M.S. with 8-12 years, or Ph.D. with 5-10 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and meet background checks
