Med Lab Manager

In this role you will lead the Emergency Center Northeast lab operations to support high-quality patient care. You provide the technology, supplies, policies, and procedures that ensure accurate, timely lab work. You will interface with administration and clients while supervising and scheduling staff, evaluating performance, and guiding budget responsibilities. You ensure adherence to TMH policies as well as TJC and CAP standards. This position centers on quality control and regulatory compliance to sustain excellent lab services in a regional healthcare system.

• Schedule, evaluate, and direct laboratory staff
• Oversee lab work quality and performance
• Prepare and monitor the section budget
• Ensure compliance with TMH policies, TJC, and CAP requirements
• Serve as interface with administration and clients

• Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license with microbiology, serology, hematology, and clinical chemistry specialties
• Two (2) years of job-related experience
