Overview

As a Civil Project Manager, you drive land development projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality outcomes for clients. You will be the primary contact for clients, contractors, and government officials, coordinating design, review, bidding, and construction activities. You lead project scope, schedule, budget, and QC, while nurturing repeat business through excellent service. This role sits in our Commercial 1/Walmart department and offers meaningful impact in a well-established, collaborative firm. You'll help clients streamline processes, manage risks, and deliver value at scale, with strong growth opportunities across a national team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to deliver land development projects
  • Involve in conceptual and design phases, the review process, bidding, construction, and project completion
  • Develop repeat business through high-quality work and service
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and local government officials
  • Coordinate work with staff and design team members
  • Review design aspects such as site layouts, grading, stormwater facilities, water quality practices, and utilities
  • Oversee quality control, budgeting, and team leadership to ensure project success
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture or equivalent training/experience
  • 3+ years in land/site development with utilities, drainage, quality control, site entitlement, and progressive project management
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally, including overnight
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative and client-focused
  • Leadership and ability to guide a project team
