Overview

Join Morgan Stanley's Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning as VP to lead and refine the Global Recovery and Resolution Financial Models. You will partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to support capital planning, regulatory deliverables, and CCAR/thinking processes, driving modeling enhancements and governance. Your work will shape resiliency, data quality, and regulatory readiness in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. This role offers impact across global teams and a chance to influence firm-wide capital and liquidity frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a core set of deliverables using deep Finance knowledge across products and client segments
  • Identify emerging risks and contribute mitigation strategies within the department
  • Model governance and act as a liaison with governance bodies and regulators
  • Present to governance committees and coordinate with second and third lines of defense
  • Drive additional use cases of financial models in business-as-usual contexts
  • Assess impacts of new activities/products on resiliency and propose mitigations
  • Support global regulatory submissions and ad hoc governance requests
  • Collaborate across teams to implement regulatory feedback and strategic change initiatives
  • Address data issues through research, analysis, and resolution steps
  • Manage ad hoc inquiries from senior management to aid decision making
Key requirements
  • Advanced understanding of Treasury, products/clients and related technical skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities-quantitative and qualitative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with complex financial products and financial modeling
  • Experience with data management in a strategic IT environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive tasks to completion
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance (or related field) preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior Recovery and Resolution planning experience a plus
  • PowerBI and/or Tableau experience a plus
