Overview In this role you will drive process improvements across CCA builds, focusing on thru-hole technology. You will analyze and optimize manufacturing operations, implementing efficiency and quality enhancements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production staff through guidance and training. This position offers hands-on experimentation, documentation, and learning from senior engineers to advance manufacturing processes and reliability.
Responsibilities- Analyze and optimize CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate product quality
- Identify and implement process improvements across multiple CCA programs using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methods
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation (work instructions, SOPs, design specs for fixtures/stencils)
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
- Work with senior engineers to gain experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Conduct experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
- Provide technical support and mentoring to production staff
