Senior Accountant

Overview

In this role you drive accurate monthly close and financial reporting within a public-company framework, strengthening controls and scalable processes. You partner with Finance, Operations, and other teams to resolve accounting issues and support system and policy evolution. You'll contribute to SOX compliance, audits, and ERP-driven improvements, enabling growth and a well-controlled accounting function. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a dynamic environment with a clear path to broader influence.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to support month-end close
  • Review trial balances and intercompany activity for proper classification
  • Deliver financial reporting schedules and SEC inputs
  • Execute SOX and internal control activities, support control enhancements
  • Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to improve processes
  • Support internal/external audits and maintain documentation
  • Contribute to ERP implementation and integration, including testing
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting for stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and other requests
Key requirements
  • CPA or progress toward CPA
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and core financial tools
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners
  • ITAR: U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance
