Overview In this role you lead actuarial pricing initiatives for the Workers' Compensation line, guiding methods and tools used by underwriting, product and sales teams. You'll drive profitable growth through segmentation and account-specific pricing insights while collaborating with product, data science, IT and other actuarial groups. You'll enhance pricing models, update parameters, and support implementation of pricing initiatives, staying aligned with industry trends. This is a leadership role with high visibility, offering the chance to shape pricing strategy in a market-leading WC business and partner across functions to add value.

Responsibilities- Lead development, enhancement and maintenance of pricing methodologies and tools used by underwriting, product and sales teams
- Update pricing model parameters and add enhancements for accuracy and efficiency (loss development, trend, excess loss factors, credibility refreshes)
- Foster connections with teammates and key business partners; analyze profitability and address business issues with product partners
- Support production implementation of pricing initiatives and stay informed on industry trends
Key requirements- FCAS preferred, but not required
- 5+ years actuarial experience
- Prior Workers' Compensation experience a plus, but not required
- Strong technical/analytical skills; high proficiency in Excel; experience with R/SQL preferred
- General knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance operations
