Overview In this role you lead and coordinate financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side deals, supporting Fortune 1000 and PE clients. You will guide cross-functional teams through transaction processes and deliver tailored reports addressing earnings quality, working capital, and risk factors. You'll work closely with clients and third-party diligence providers to inform valuation and negotiation. Responsibilities- Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence support to clients
- Coordinate approach of client, KPMG teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout the transaction process
- Analyze target data to identify historical and projected financial trends, earnings quality, working capital considerations, liabilities, and risks affecting valuation and negotiation
- Create tailored transaction advisory reports on issues such as normalized earnings, valuation inputs, management budget achievability, and indebtedness considerations
Key requirements- At least five years of relevant experience, including four years in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction services at a Top Ten public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA eligible; licensed CPA preferred)
- Extensive project management experience coordinating staff, clients, and partners
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting issues, IFRS, M&A, or transaction services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel
