Overview In this role you will oversee the Division's financial activities to support project execution and corporate reporting. You will partner with project managers and the Division Controller to manage job costs, subcontracts, and cash flow for Florida-based heavy civil projects. You will improve financial processes and ensure accurate, timely reporting across multiple units. This position offers exposure to large-scale infrastructure work and a clear path to impact financial controls and budgeting in a respected construction firm.

Responsibilities- Review pay estimates and input monthly progress billings from project managers
- Manage subcontracts, including bonding/insurance validation, payroll reporting, and processing pay requests
- Review month-end statements (job cost, plant/materials, fixed/variable costs, inventories)
- Prepare sales and use tax returns as needed
- Prepare adjusting journal entries under supervision
- Assist with collections (NTOs, liens, releases)
- Assist Division Controller with budgets and forecasts
- Supervise or assist A/P staff across operating units
- Be flexible to work beyond normal hours to meet deadlines
Key requirements- Demonstrable previous experience as an Accounting Supervisor
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Business or Accounting preferred
- Excellent computer skills with advanced Excel
- Prior SAP experience preferred
