Senior Portfolio Advisor II

Overview

In this role you guide and manage investment activities for a high net worth client base, acting as a senior investment advisor within the market. You will combine portfolio management with proactive client advisory to meet bespoke objectives, while aligning with risk controls and firm standards. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to grow the business and enhance client outcomes. You will lead with investment expertise and contribute to thought leadership and governance initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage investments for major fee-revenue producing accounts with complex, high net worth portfolios
  • Develop and direct execution of goals-based investment programs to achieve bespoke client objectives
  • Analyze and revise investment strategy as client goals evolve, in coordination with client service teams
  • Maintain influential client and advisor relationships to communicate requirements and coordinate activity
  • Deliver proactive, advice-driven service and clearly explain investment concepts and portfolio strategies
  • Contribute to market growth through new business development and relationship cultivation
  • Engage in thought leadership, including publications and educational forums
  • Participate in governance and risk management practices, and support firm initiatives and training
  • Lead and collaborate within the market team to solve complex investment challenges
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and external events to support business development
Key requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of investment experience (including research) with sustained performance
  • Ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver tailored solutions
  • Experience leading projects or teams with moderate resource requirements and risk
  • Strong investment judgment and portfolio management skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work authorization to be employed in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
