Overview In this role you drive adoption and growth of Esri technology within the Commercial Forestry sector. You will build and manage a healthy pipeline, partner with customers as a trusted advisor, and translate geospatial capabilities into business value. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, convey solutions through storytelling, and help customers achieve their mission with GIS-driven insights. Responsibilities- Build relationships with customers and prospects; develop and implement location strategies
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities for new and existing customers
- Leverage social media and events to expand professional network
- Understand customer industry drivers and budgeting/ procurement processes
- Apply solution-selling to address customer challenges with Esri technology
- Articulate value of Esri solutions in Commercial Forestry contexts
- Conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs
- Lead or participate in whiteboard sessions and visual storytelling to propose solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and execute account strategies
- Take initiative to resolve issues and drive results
Key requirements- 2+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Experience creating partnerships and becoming a trusted advisor to customers
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Forestry and emerging technology trends; ability to translate into customer solutions
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across organizational levels
- Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% domestically or internationally
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, forestry, forest management, natural resource management, or a related field
