Overview

In this role you act as a strategic financial advisor to the BioReliance CTS Business Unit, linking corporate finance with operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data-driven planning. You provide leadership with financial insights to guide investments, budgeting, and strategic decisions. You translate complex data into actionable recommendations and support a robust control environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable growth and operational excellence in a science-driven business.

Responsibilities
  • Finance partner for the assigned business unit and build relationships with leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Provide proactive financial guidance to support decisions, investments, and planning
  • Conduct advanced financial analysis to generate value-driving insights
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Perform variance analysis and communicate drivers and risks to leadership
  • Ensure timely and accurate IFRS-based financial close and adherence to accounting policies
  • Support budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts with market assessments and scenario analysis
  • Maintain internal controls in line with SOX and company policies; support audits and remediation
  • Identify and implement process improvements and promote automation to enhance reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with shared services and global finance teams to standardize best practices
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience including business partnering or controllership
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate with senior leaders
  • Proficiency with financial systems and data visualization tools (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau, Business Objects)
