Overview In this role you enable informed decision-making for Navy and DoD programs by leading financial management, budgeting, and earned value execution. You will work within the Undersea Technology Portfolio to support PPBE planning and program funding, coordinating with stakeholders to produce accurate budgets and reports. You'll interface with program managers and end customers to ensure financial alignment with mission goals, contributing to naval warfare system programs. This is a hands-on, collaborative position at mid-level in a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities- Support a PEO (SUB) Program Office with business financial management
- Assist in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) for undersea warfare systems
- Prepare, manage and track budgets, spend plans, funding obligations and execution
- Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain funding data, resolve issues, and produce budget reports
- Execute Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Provide financial management support for contracts (CPRs, EAC, change orders, CDRLs)
- Develop cost analyses and leadership reports in response to inquiries
Key requirements- 7 yrs experience with Navy acquisition / In-Service Programs
- 5 yrs experience with Navy Finance and Contracting and the Navy PPBE Process
- Experience planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) for naval systems
- Preparing and tracking budgets, spend plans, funding obligations
- Stakeholder coordination to obtain funding data and produce budget status reports
- Experience executing Earned Value Management System
- Capability to lead a project and interface with an end item customer
- Active DoD Secret clearance (ability to maintain)
