Overview As Chief Field Operating Officer, you will guide field and profit-center underwriting and marketing operations to hit production, profitability, and service goals. You'll lead sales, distribution, and agency engagement across New England and Upstate New York, while optimizing underwriting and talent development. This executive role sits on the Senior Management Team, shaping strategic direction and cross-functional collaboration. You'll drive impact through data-informed decisions and strong leadership.

Responsibilities- Set strategic direction for field/underwriting and marketing operations to achieve unit goals
- Lead sales, distribution, and agency engagement across territories and segments
- Optimize field underwriting to meet expense, loss, and production targets
- Recruit, retain, and develop underwriting and marketing professionals
- Foster collaboration and talent development within a high-performing team
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or related graduate degree preferred
- Twenty years of commercial lines insurance experience with underwriting and marketing and P&L responsibility
- Established agency relationships in New England and Upstate New York
- Proven track record of building teams in a collaborative culture
- Strong data analysis and strategic execution skills
- Experience in strategic planning, marketing, market development, and market research for commercial lines
- Ability to demonstrate WRBC Leadership Core Competencies and Innovation Behaviors
- Approximately 25% travel within New England and New York
- Valid driver's license
