Overview In this role you will provide ongoing Linux systems administration across locations, handling installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and connectivity. You will address incident remediation, compliance, and run enhancements, while participating in testing, policy updates, and coordination with clients to improve system availability. You will administer development, testing, and production servers, manage software, monitor networks, and create guides to support users. You will help ensure licensing, standards compliance, and operational reliability, contributing to a collaborative, security-conscious environment.
Responsibilities- Administers development, test, and production servers including reloading, re-imaging, and debugging
- Installs, removes, and upgrades software on test, development, and production servers
- Performs daily monitoring of network systems and initiates proactive measures for functionality and load balancing
- Troubleshoots systems and host environments to identify faults and systemic issues
- Evaluates, recommends, and implements solutions to ensure functionality and compliance with company standards
- Provides network and systems evaluation and operational reports; maintains accurate system records
- Ensures proper licensing and operational status of company programs
- Assists systems users by creating instructional guides and providing training
Key requirements- BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working expertise in Linux systems administration
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
